The role you’ll contribute:

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is responsible for the delivery of coordinated nursing care for a patient and/or assigned group of patients within a patient care unit and for the day-to-day management and supervision of the related clinical activities. Under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN), the LPN functions to provide and ensure the completion of activities of various levels of assigned nursing and ancillary personnel for that patient or group of patients. The LPN practices within the State, Facility and regulatory guidelines

• Responsible for the execution of the Nursing Process under the supervision of the RN
• Collects Patient Health Data
• Reviews the Assessment Data and Diagnoses from RN
• Works with RN to Develop a Plan of Care that prescribes interventions to attain expected outcomes.
• Implement interventions identified in the plan of care
• Evaluate the patient’s progress toward attainment of outcomes

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:

• Practical Degree In Nursing or Nursing Degree from Accredited Nursing School
• Current LPN GA license required
• 6 months clinical experience preferred
• Proficiency must be attained via on-the-job training, and orientation, within 3 months
• Current BLS required
